LKBP SUCCESSFULLY HOLDS 2ND VIRTUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY

After conducting their first Virtual Annual General Assembly last year, Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad (LKBP) successfully conducted their 36th General Assembly virtually from April 5-30, 2022. CDA Region III Director, Cristina H. Villamil and CDA Assistant Secretary, Vidal D. Villanueva III graced the virtual event. With the same theme, “Moving forward on Sustainable Future touching Both Economic and Social Piece”, LKBP continuously provides quality products and services to all its members locally and internationally. A total attendees of 3,016 participated the Virtual General Assembly. LKBP members who attended the videoconference and won the raffle will received their prizes and cash allowance of ₱500.00 through their Kaya Savings account.


LKBP wins Villar Sipag Awards on Poverty Reduction 2021

The Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance) recognizes 15 cooperatives and enterprises from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao last December 17, 2021, during the awarding ceremony of the 9th Villar Sipag Awards on Poverty Reduction held at Villar Sipag Bldg., C5 Extension Road, Las Pinas City. 250 entries all over the country joined this search and LKBP is the only cooperative in Region 3 that wins the prestigious award. The 9th Villar Sipag awarding ceremony was conducted on a limited face-to-face setup and through Facebook live via Villar Sipag Facebook page. The nationwide search will continue again next year to give more recognitions to top organizations in the country that help alleviate poverty and improve the lives of Filipino people.


LKBP Livelihood Training- “Onion Growing”

On November 3, 2021 Ligas KBP Foundation, Inc. and Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad through worthwhile support from the Provincial Agriculture Office of Bulacan successfully conducted a Livelihood Seminar on Onion Growing for the benefit of members and patrons as well as public participants. With the objective of providing a means of livelihood, Onion Growing could serve as source of family living and personal consumption. Due to limitation brought by the pandemic situation, the seminar was conducted on a limited face-to-face set-up for 10 participants at LKBP ARC Training Center and through Facebook live streaming participated by 194 group viewers from LKBP branches. Among them were 127 members and 77 non-members consisted of 91 male and 113 female participants. It reached out 819 people, 383 live views, 22 shares and 448 engagements. Resource speaker was Mr. Edward Alibuyog, Jr., the Territory Sales Representative in Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya of Ramgo International Corporation together with Mr. Jocris Bernardo, Demand Creation Specialist. The event was graced by Bulacan Provincial Agriculturists, Ms. Carmela Bandola and Ms. Judith Mateo, with Mr. Raymart Santiago.
