LKBP through LKBPFI Enhances Learning Environment with Wall Fan Donations

In a commendable display of community support and social service, Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad (LKBP) through Ligas KBP Foundation, Inc. (LKBPFI) generously donated 80 wall fans to 20 public schools in Region 3 as part of their participation in the Brigada Eskwela 2023. In addition, Doña Escolastica Aldaba Punongbayan Elementary School, located at Kabilang Bakood, Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan received 5 wall fans through affiliation of LKBP with Bulacan Cooperative Hall of Fame League Union (BCHFLU). This collaborative project is essential to ensuring that both students and teachers can be successful in their academic endeavors since it attempts to offer a warm and encouraging learning atmosphere.
LKBP Members joins NATCCO webinar on Financial Literacy

Twenty (20) LKBP Members attended the webinar on the Increase of Financial Literacy of Cooperative Members facilitated by NATCCO last September 1, 2023 via Zoom. This aims to empower participants a clear vision and right mindset in handling their finances and manage their financial resources. Ligas Cooperative paid the registration fee for the twenty attendees from 10 branches of LKBP.
LKBP Bookkeepers Attends seminar on Standard Chart of Accounts

As part of the goal of LKBP to provide professional growth to its employees, LKBP sent out all bookkeepers to attend the 1-day seminar on the Standard Chart of Accounts and Taxation conducted by the Bulacan Federation of Cooperatives held at Club Royale Malolos last August 29, 2023. The seminar aims to provide updates to all Cooperative Bookkeepers on the importance of recording and organizing accounts and setting standards and discipline to measure financial safety and enhance transparency in the business. Yolanda S. Rotap, a Certified Public Accountant and an accredited external auditor of BIR and CDA facilitated the seminar.
