LKBP Bookkeepers Attends seminar on Standard Chart of Accounts

As part of the goal of LKBP to provide professional growth to its employees, LKBP sent out all bookkeepers to attend the 1-day seminar on the Standard Chart of Accounts and Taxation conducted by the Bulacan Federation of Cooperatives held at Club Royale Malolos last August 29, 2023. The seminar aims to provide updates to all Cooperative Bookkeepers on the importance of recording and organizing accounts and setting standards and discipline to measure financial safety and enhance transparency in the business. Yolanda S. Rotap, a Certified Public Accountant and an accredited external auditor of BIR and CDA facilitated the seminar.


LKBP is now available in GCASH

Through the partnership of ECPAY and LKBP, all members can now pay or settle their loan and send funds to their LKBP Account via Gcash. Moreover, members have the option to deposit funds either to their savings or share capital accounts. Charges will also apply per transaction.


LKBP Conducts Webinar on Mental Health Benefits in the Workplace and at Home

Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad through Ligas KBP Foundation, Inc., conducted another Project Care on Mental Health Benefits in the Workplace and at Home last August 12, 2023, via Zoom. Resource Speaker, Dante C. Boac, Psychotherapist and a Psychologist for more than twenty years shared learnings on how to take care one’s mental health. Boac explained that having a healthy mind also affects how people think, feel, and act which is why, it is very important to put extra effort to check our mental health to avoid stress and depression. LKBP Chief Executive Officer, Julita D. Nazar welcome all the attendees and encourages them as well to listen and enjoy the two-hour webinar and get some learnings that can help them manage mental health challenges. Participants in the webinar are all LKBP Board of Directors, Committees, and employees.
